Winter in Karpacz

During winter you may find excellent skiing conditions and different forms of outdoor leisure. If you are a beginning skier you can take children and enjoy sleighing near the place of accommodation provided with the very many ski slopes in town. By each of the ski slopes you may find the drag lifts and ski rental. Most of them are equipped with artificial snowing machine and thanks to the illumination it is opened until late night hours.
When visiting our ice rink you can discover the pleasure of skating. The ski jump ‘Orlinek’ will surely draw your attention. This is the place where the first national and international championships were held, including such renowned participants as Adam Małysz. During summer the ski jump is used as an observation point out of which you can admire the beauty of Karkonosze.
Still for more demanding skiers, „Śnieżka“ skiing complex is available. It includes seven ski-lifts and six ski-trails of various difficulty levels. The three of pistes are systematically provided with artificial snow. If you prefer cross-country skiing, you should be satisfied with the ski run beautifully situated in the highest part of Karpacz.
