Karpacz for Seniors

Karpacz is a perfect holiday destination for mature age people. We highly recommend you off peak periods during spring or autumn. It is a time when there is the peace and quiet in the town and tourist trails are less crowded. Under such conditions you can fully enjoy the benefits and the climate of Karpacz. 

The town offers good climate for spending free time. The area of Karpacz have almost 90 km of sign-posted tourist trails, which enable discovering one of the most precious natural parts of our country. We have prepared a few options of walking trails near the centre and longer hiking routes in the Giant Mountains. In the 'Mountain Hiking' tab you can find a proposal of a walk along the fit path, it is a great oportunity to test your physical condition and add variety to your day.  We suggest starting trips around the Karkonosze National Park from mountains huts located in lower areas like: Nad Łomniczką, Samotnia or Academic Thatch and gradually increase the difficulty level.  We encourage you to finally reach, if possible, the Queen of the Giant Mountains, Śnieżka. You can always make this task easier and cover part of the trails using a chairlift. 

Undoubtedly, Karpacz provides a great variety of flora and fauna and a real cultural feast.  You should not miss the Museum of Sports and Tourism during your visit. The exhibit will help you learn more on the history of the region and you will visit next attractions with the greater knowledge. Another places you must see include Church Wang and the Museum of Toys from the collection of Henryk Tomaszewski. Depending on the length of stay in Karpacz you will always find many other attractions and numerous cultural events.

After an active day you should go to the promenade, where stylish cafes serve coffee or home-made cakes and ice-cream. Take advantage of a wide range of wellness offer. In the evenings you may enrich your social life by attending one of dance parties organized in Karpacz.
