Karpacz for Families

We are aware of the fact that children are the most demanding clients. We strive to make their stay here memorable. Karpacz offers winter and summer attractions adopted specially to children's needs!

In the summer, families with children may go for a walk in the Giant Mountains, every child will manage to go through the route to the mountain hut called By Łomniczka River or to Samotnia, however parents' help may be required.  If you wish to go for a relaxing walk with a baby pram, choose the red trail from Orlinek to the mountain hut By Łomniczka River (Nad Łomniczką). Children full of energy can walk through the fit path on Pohulanka Mountain in the town centre. There are some athletics equipment on which they can have fun and get tired. Visiting the Fairy Tale Park also helps to use up energy. It is a true kingdom of children with a playground, trampoline and many other attractions.  The whole family will find some rest at the Dam on Łomnica River. All of you can observe and feed ducks and in the hot summer swim in the ice water of the mountain river.  

Those who are brave enough may visit ropes courses, toboggan tracks and Raven Rocks (Krucze Skały) and try themselves at climbing, of course under the supervision of an instructor. In the near Western City a bank robbery will provide you with a variety of emotions. Go to the Museum of Sports and Tourism, the Museum of Toys and Mysteries of the Giant Mountains and find there some peace, see the exhibitions and learn more about the area. If you haven't met the Mountain Ghost yet step into the Museum of Lego to see  the figure of the Mountain Ghost built of thousands of well-known bricks. 

What can you do in Karpacz in winter? Have fun during crazy rides on sleighs or  tyres in specially designated and safe  places. Take skiing classes with an instructor on one of many ski slopes available for children.  Visit a synthetic or natural ice rink and relax during sleigh ride with torches in the evening.
