The marathon is named after Tomek Kowalski, who was himself an ultramarathon runner, a keen athlete, an alpinist. Mountains are inseparably associated with him. He trained, climbed and stayed in mountains forever (d. 6 III 2013, Broad Peak, Karakorum).
Winter. Strong wind, snow above knees, polar desert all these may wait for participants running together for 52 km along the ridge of the Giant Mountains from Jakuszyce to Karpacz. The time limit is 11 hours.
Take up the challenge together with 300 hundred contestants and face your weaknesses in winter conditions. It's cold, it's hard, it's fantastic!
