Wolf's Clearing (Wilcza Poręba)

The trail begins at the bridge over the Łomniczka River, nearby the Obrońców Pokoju Street close to the police station and Sandra SPA Hotel. Passing a bridge take a paved path which turns right. It will lead you along the river. Then take a steep climb that reaches Dzika Street. On the left side you will see a building with a colourful mural showing tourists conquering Śnieżka. You can also enter the Fairy Tale Park (Park Bajek) which is located nearby. It could be an amazing adventure for children. Then you have to proceed and search for the yellow trail and follow it for 100 metres, turn right into the gravel path. The green trail connects with the yellow one, since then it is your route to the end of the trip. After several minutes of walking you will rich KNP Information Centre. It is worthwhile to stop here. Staff of Information Centre can show you around the exhibition and the garden. They will provide you with a great dose of knowledge on the Giant Mountains. Follow the green trail to get to Leśna Street and to Gimnazjalna Street. You will have to overcome the steep hill in order to reach the White Ravine (Biały Jar). From here, you may go to the town centre (by going down) or to Upper Karpacz (Karpacz Górny) (by climbing up).
