Karpacz in Summer

When snow melts down and trails in the mountains are becoming accessible and tourist-friendly many of you head out to the mountains to ascend the highest mountain of the Giant Mountains, Śnieżka.  We fully understand that because visiting Karpacz without setting foot on its peak is as if .........you have never been to Karpacz..

A lot of tourist trails have a starting point in Karpacz and lead to different beautiful corners of the Giant Mountains. Just look at a map and set off a hiking adventure. If you prefer shorter and less intensive walk choose the walking trails in the town. Look for the trail leading to Pohulanka mountain which begins next to the Museum of Sports and Tourism and you will avoid the crowds on the promenade and have an opportunity to improve your physical condition on the "fit path".  Near the Dam on Łomnica River (Zapora na Łomnicy) follow the red trail crossing the Karpatka hill and walk the forest path running among the rocks.  Look out for the green trail on the Wolf's Pass (Wilcza Poręba), pass KPN Information Centre until you reach Wild Waterfall (Dziki Wodospad). These are only a few examples of trails and during next walks include Wang Church, museums or Western City. 

Adrenaline enthusiasts may enjoy place where they can face their fears. In the summer the Ski Jumping Hill 'Orlinek' is a place well-known for bungee jumping, the longest zip-line or pendulum. If you like extreme sports which are closer to nature visit Raven Rocks (Krucze Skały) where free climbing classes supervised by an instructor are organised during holiday weekends.
