THE STREET OF DWARVES OF THE GIANT MOUNTAINS

The shortest and the narrowest street in Poland.

The street is 30  metres long and 3 metres wide, and there is only one address plaque on the building of kindergaten. The official opening of the street took place on 1 June 2009.

Mrs. Maria Nienartowicz, a resident of Karpacz and an author of the children's book "The Fairytale Karpacz Travel Guide" is the originator of that name.

Anyone who enters the street will certainly notice the stone with the image of a dwarf. More perceptive tourists should notice small footprints of dwarves who have been passing recently. Maybe you will be lucky enought to meet personally one of the dwarves Wśbinos, Mądruś or Zadziorek? These dwarves helped with the opening of the street and now they often maintain order here.

Location: opposite the Museum of Sports and Tourism (Muzeum Sportu i Turystyki)
