Raven Rocks (Krucze Skały) is a place for rock climbing enthusiasts.
It is a strong of several outcrops built of granites and gneisses with a height up to 25 m located on the slope of the valley of Płomnica.
The area has been explored by climbers since the second half of 19th century, but it was Tomasz Szałowski who equipped first trails with permanent protection in nineties. 2008 – 2010 brought significant changes. Members of KKW Andrzej „Sokół ” Sokołowski, Marcin „ Rutek” Rutkowski and Piotr „Długi” Kimbort mounted permanent runners and anchors on climbing routes with financial support from Karpacz City Hall and climbing fellows.
Climber's ethics:
1. Protect all climbing routes and anchors using glue-in anchors. No bolts! - unauthorised bolt-type anchors will be removed.
2. In case of top-rope climbing always attach the rope through carabiner not directly through ring. It will extend their usability and other climber will be able to benefit from them for many years.
3. If you find a new logical line report it to us and will try to install permanent runners as far as it is possible considering our equipment capabilities.
4. Keep the area of Raven Rocks in the same condition as you would like to see it. Don't leave your rubbish behind!!!

Behind Raven Rocks Guest-house (DW Krucze Skały) at Wilcza 1 Street turn into the first gravel road to the left and turn left again behind the tennis courts. You will see the wall straight ahead. About 15 minutes from the town centre.
